Now that we know the RTX 4060 gaming laptop prices, the question is are they worth it?

The newest member of Nvidia’s Lovelace series is here, and it’s the most budget friendly way to get your hands on the new generation that we’ve seen so far.

All the devices on this list are among the best RTX 4060 gaming laptops available, and we have done a deep dive comparing two, the ASUS ROG Strix 16 RTX 4060 vs Razer Blade 16, if you want something more in-depth.

So far it has only come out as a mobile GPU sold in pre-built gaming laptops. We’re going to be breaking down three of the best and seeing if they, and by extension, the RTX 4060 are worth it. Spoiler alert, we think it is.

As you can see these are incredibly powerful devices, and their price, though not exactly cheap, is surprisingly low. For comparison, the other RTX 40-series GPUs that have been released have tended to cost over $1000 just for the card itself.

Of course, this mobile GPU is less powerful. Nvidia has confirmed it will have a boost speed of 2,370MHz alongside 3,072 CUDA cores. This is still very formidable and you get all the other features of this next generation of GPUs.

What’s more, there is a great variety of laptops available out there. This means that if performance is paramount to you, you can splash out on the Razer Blade 16, with one of the most powerful CPUs, a lightning-fast refresh rate and a high resolution.

Or if budget is more of a concern the MSI Katana has you covered while still offering competitive specs. As is common, it all comes down to balancing price and performance but, we reckon, the RTX 4060 makes this easier to do than much of its competition.

We’re going to be keeping an eye on all the latest news around this new graphics card, including the possible release date of the desktop RTX 4060, so make sure you’re checking back here regularly to stay up to date.
