Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami has revealed that he has ideas for new games in the Dino Crisis and God Hand series, but can’t act on them because the IPs belong to Capcom.

Speaking at Gamelab in Spain, Mikami revealed he’s had an idea for a new Dino Crisis for some time now. As for God Hand, he says he wants to bring RPG elements to the tough-as-nails fighting game.

However, unless Mikami can obtain the rights from Capcom these ideas are unlikely to ever become a reality. The only other hope would be to talk Bethesda into backing a new IP based on dinosaurs…

The most recent Dino Crisis launched on Xbox in 2003 but wasn’t received all that well by critics.
