Texas Chainsaw-inspired scare fest Resident Evil 7: biohazard has finally received Xbox One X support courtesy of a new title update from developer Capcom.
The patch allows you to enjoy the acclaimed survival horror title in 4K resolution for Microsoft’s telly box, and adds High-Dynamic Range (HDR) plus other spruced up features including ‘improved skin tone display through Screen-Space Subsurface Scattering.’ In other words, you can now marvel at Jack Baker’s wrinkly features in more detail than ever before.
Resident Evil 7 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One back in January 2017, and is credited for returning the venerable franchise back to its old-school horror roots. Alice agreed with this notion, although found the game suffered from wonky combat and a linear ending.
Capcom announced at the end of January this year that Resident Evil 7 had sold 4.8 million copies worldwide, although the publisher reckons the game could go on to flog as much as 10 million during its lifetime.Â
