Resident Evil 6 will let players take control of creatures, according to a report on Andriasang.

The new mode, detailed in this week’s Famitsu magazine, opens up once you’ve cleared the main game, and lets you become a creature in certain stages. In these stages there will still be a human-controlled main character, but that player won’t know which of the creatures he’s fighting are AI and which are human controlled – they’ll only know that another human-controlled player has entered the game.

Multiple creatures will be able to team up to take on the main character, and voice chat can be used to coordinate attacks.

Agent Hunt mode sounds somewhat like the now cancelled The Crossing from Arkane Studios.

Resident Evil 6 is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 2.
