Resident Evil 2's mod craze shows no signs of slowing down this week, with this latest effort perhaps the most bizarre yet. No, it's not a Chief Irons Swimsuit Edition, but rather a mod that turns Mr. X into Thomas the Tank Engine. Toot toot!
You can get the mod here (via Eurogamer) although note that sound effects aren't provided for Thomas. He still sounds like Mr. X, so keep that in mind. Still, it's hilarious (and slightly terrifying) to see a smiling Thomas stalking Leon and Claire through the RPD, especially when they get sweary with him. It's also mildly amusing to see that he can barely fit through doors.
I used to love Thomas the Tank Engine. In fact, the episode about the Ghost Train still terrifies me to me to this day. Hmm, I wonder if there's a mod for that?
Previous Resident Evil mods have introduced everything from old-school static camera angles, a first-person perspective, to an Umbrella-themed thong for Mr. X.
