Ubisoft has dropped a brand new map for multiplayer shooter Rainbow Six Siege in the form of the Emerald Plains.

The new location is the game’s first brand new arena in three years. Set in the rolling hills of Northern Ireland, the Emerald Plains themselves are a country club and private ranch. Players can take their fight into a grand manor and its surrounding grounds as they take on the other team.

The main manor itself includes two floors, each with their own distinct style. The upper floor has a more classic style, while the ground floor features more modern architecture and the like. There’s three interior staircases to keep your eyes open for, or you could just rappel in through the rooftop skylight. A fireplace atrium also provides a handy spot to take cover in.

The new map is part of the midseason update to the game’s Year 7 Season 1: Demon Veil. Previously, the season introduced the game’s latest operator Azami, as well as a Team Deathmatch mode. There’s more to come later this year, including cross-progression and cross-play and an Arcade mode. You can read up more on the planned roadmap over here.

Emerald Plains is available now in Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC – you can check out a trailer for the new map below.
