PUBG Mobile is set to get its latest update with the 2.5 patch. This patch is also set to bring a host of new features to the game. Let’s take a look at when we can expect this new update to be released and what we should look forward to:
PUBG Mobile 2.4 Update Release Date
The PUBG Mobile 2.4 Update will be available on mobile devices on the 6th of January. This means players will be able to experience Season 10 of the Battle Royale game this week.

Cycle 4 Season 10 will be available from the 17th of January alongside Battle Royale Pass Month 19.
PUBG Mobile 2.4 Update New Features
There are plenty of new things coming to PUBG Mobile this week in this update that will set up PUBG Mobile with new features for the rest of January. Just some of the updates coming will be to the vehicles and weapons in the game. We will see a new gun introduced, the AAC Honey Badger, and this will be available on the Erangel, Sanhok and LIvik maps respectively.
The FAMAS is also set to be available in Erangel going forward too. 2-Seat Bikes are also available now and can be found in the Bicycle Sheds on Miramar, Erangel and Livik.
Yet, one of the most exciting new things coming to PUBG Mobile is the Martial Showdown.
What is the Martial Showdown in PUBG Mobile?
The Martial Showdown is arriving in PUBG Mobile as part of the 2.4 Update and is a Martial Arts festival that will be arriving in the game. Players can compete in challenges to unlock special items. All of which will be martial arts themed.

The maps impacted by this event will be Erangel and Livik, where there will be Martial Arts Arenas found on the map. In these Arenas You will be able to find the new Dancing Lion Vehicle that can jump and dash, helping you weave your way through conflict. A Grappling Hook, to help with mobility, and a bow are also set to be introduced alongside the Martial Showdown event. Legendary Martial Arts expert Bruce Lee will also be featuring in the event.
PUBG Mobile: Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee is coming to the popular game, alongside the Martial Showdown festival. Lee will be available from the 10th of January where there will be multiple sets and skins released of the late Actor and Martial Arts expert. Alongside the skins will be emotes, parachutes and more.
The Dreamrealm Apprentice event also begins on the 10th of January and will have players following Bruce Lee through challenges to earn a variety of rewards. This will run through to the 26th of January.
PUBG Mobile: Metro Royale Mode Returns
Metro Royale is returning and with a new map: Misty Port. This will have even more supplies and transportation routes than before. There will also be more NPC enemies and bosses this time around.
