Gamers in North America have finally been able to get hold of the Sony PSP, three months after the console launched in Japan. Many stores across the US and Canada opened at midnight in order to satisfy eager gamers.
Initial reports suggest that the launch was a success. Despite some bad weather, queues at various stores contained hundreds of people willing to put up with the harsh conditions to be some of the first people in North America to get hold of a PSP.
If you weren’t one of the launch night buyers or you happen to live in Europe where the PSP hasn’t been released yet, why not console yourself with our PSP video feature. A ten minute look at the console and a number of games might make the wait a little bit easier.
