PSN members will be able to claim a 10 per cent discount on PlayStation Store this Friday following the network’s downtime over Christmas.
Between 9am GMT January 23 and 9am GMT January 26, all PSN members will be entitled to a one-time 10 per cent discount off “hundreds of thousands” of items available in PlayStation Store, including game pre-orders.
Subscriptions to PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content are excluded, however.
To take advantage of the offer you’ll need to enter a discount code at checkout, although it isn’t yet clear how Sony intends to deliver them to account holders.
The transaction must be completed by 5pm GMT January 26.
In addition to the discount, PS Plus members affected by the outage will also receive a 5-day extension to their subscription.
PlayStation Network and Xbox Live were both taken offline for multiple days over the Christmas holiday following a suspected DDoS attack.
What are you planning to use your discount code on?
