PS4 gamers will get access to a Call of Duty Infinite Warfare beta weekend from October 14 at 6pm until 6pm on October 17, Activision has announced.

A second beta weekend will then run October 21 at 6pm until October 24 at 6pm, for both PS4 and Xbox One.

In order to take part in either beta test you'll need to have pre-ordered Infinite Warfare.

In the coming weeks look out for details on what's included in the multiplayer beta.

The Infinite Warfare campaign stars stars Kit 'Jon Snow' Harrington and Conor 'UFC fighter' McGregor. Harrington plays Admiral Salen Kotch of the Settlement Defense Front, who seems to have found himself typecast as someone who can act good in the snow. McGregor plays Captain Bradley Fillion, also of the Settlement Defense Front.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will also feature the all new Zombies survival co-op experience Zombies in Spaceland, which promises to immerse players in an all-new 1980s setting of a space-themed amusement park, complete with 80s soundtrack and four classic '80s characters.

The story features four aspiring actors invited for an audition by director Willard Wyler, played by Paul Reubens (Pee-wee's Big Holiday, Gotham), who was once the shining star of the horror genre. The actors are quickly transformed into characters and placed into Wyler's film to fight against waves of zombies.

The four characters are the jock, the nerd, the valley girl and the rapper, who will be voiced by Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors, Suicide Squad), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live, Ride Along) and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer).

Players will also encounter an enigmatic Park DJ portrayed by David Hasselhoff.

Pre-order any edition of the game to receive the Zombies in Spaceland Pack, which consists of a unique zombies weapon camo, zombies weapon reticle, animated zombies calling card and Fate & Fortune card pack. The Terminal bonus map is also included with pre-orders.
