SCEE has refuted rumours that PlayStation 4 will not be playable at Gamescom, assuring VideoGamer.com that the console will be playable on the show floor.
Sony’s confirmation follows speculation earlier today suggesting that the console may not be present within the public area of next week’s show, after retailers were allegedly informed that the console would not be playable.
Sony has previously said that it will use Gamescom to “focus… on PS4 and its games line-up once again”, with many anticipating a final release date announcement during the platform holder’s press conference.
