We know it’s a painful wait to get your hands on the PlayStation 4, but don’t be tricked into passing on personal details to fraudsters promising beta access to the new console.
Sony is obviously concerned that some PlayStation fans will fall foul of dodgy websites, so has issued a statement via its official PlayStation Twitter account.
“Important: Sites or individuals offering ‘PS4 beta tests’ are frauds. Don’t be fooled!” explained the Tweet. “Follow @PlayStation for official news on PS4.”
PlayStation 4 will be released this holiday season, although it’s not clear where in the world this applies.
