Sony has released a minor new system software update for PS4.
System update 4.05 aims to “improve the quality of the system performance”, which, if you were to ask me, sounds a lot like another one of those classic PS4 stability updates.
And while I wouldn’t like to speculate, with PS4 Pro’s release just around the corner, it’s possible that there could be some background functionality tweaks in there in preparation for the new console’s arrival.
The update comes in at 312MB. You’ll be prompted to download it the next time you sign in to PSN on your PS4.
