June will be a big month for gamers as it will bring about the annual Summer Game Fest event, and it will also see the release of Death Stranding 2, one of the most anticipated games of the year. There will also be some new games for PS Plus subscribers. The games leaving PS Plus in June 2025 have just been announced, meanwhile, only one addition has been confirmed so far, and it’s a big one.
PS Plus June 2025 games leaving
Below are the games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in June 2025:
- Monster Hunter Rise
- Rogue Legacy 2
- Inscryption
- After Us
- Kayak VR: Mirage
- AVIICI Invector
All the above come courtesy of PlayStation Lifestyle and will leave on June 17th. While it’s not a huge list of departures, there are a couple of good games included. Monster Hunter Rise is another good installment in the legendary Capcom series, and Inscryption is an indie masterpiece that everyone needs to play.
Before all the above leave Extra and Premium, don’t forget to grab the current Essential games before they leave on June 3rd as per the PlayStation Blog:
- Balatro
- ARK Survival Ascended

Game joining PS Plus
The PS Plus June 2025 games should be revealed on May 28th. So far, only one addition has been confirmed, and it is the day-one release of Remedy Entertainment’s co-op shooter, FBC Firebreak.
We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to preview FBC Firebreak, and we were very elated over what we experienced. It has the full charm and quirks of a Remedy experience, and it plays like a classic co-op shooter. It’s a chaotic experience that justly belongs in the universe of Control, and it’s something subscribers should look forward to playing at no extra cost.
In other PlayStation news, there are rumors of a Showcase or State of Play for the summer.
