The Official PlayStation Blog reports that come the launch of PlayStation Move in September, a free patch will be available to download for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, implementing all-new motion controls.
Moving forward, all new Gold Edition versions of Resident Evil 5 that hit store shelves after the launch of PlayStation Move will come with PlayStation Move support included on the disc.
However, it’s bad news for gamers with the original Resident Evil 5 release; PlayStation Move functionality won’t be patched into the game because of unspecified “technical reasons”.
PS Move is scheduled for release across Europe on September 15, 2010.
