NCsoft Europe and ArenaNet have today announced that the pre-release bonus pack for Guild Wars: Eye of the North will hit retailers on July 20.
This pack will be offered to those who pre-order the game and grant them access to the Sneak Peek Weekend which will take place August 24-26, 2007. This special event will enable Guild Wars players to log into the game for a first look at Eye of the North. Players will be able to explore the Far Shiverpeaks region of the world, with everything gained during the weekend carrying over to when the game official launches.
The pre-release bonus pack also features exclusive weapons, including the Glacial Blade, the Hourglass Staff, and the Darksteel Longbow. These have been based on the winning designs from the Guild Wars Design-a-Weapon Contest held earlier this year. The pack also comes with a Guild Wars Trilogy Trial DVD which offers 10 hours / 14 days access (whichever comes first) to all three of the Guild Wars campaigns.
Guild Wars: Eye of the North will be released on August 31, 2007 and will be accessible to players with any of the previously released Guild Wars campaigns.
