Portal 2 will feature two end credit sequences – one for the single-player and one for the co-op campaign – with each sporting its own special surprise, Valve’s Chet Faliszek has told VideoGamer.com.

Faliszek spilled the info at a recent EA showcase.

“Both sets of credits [will feature something special], because we’ve got two credits,” said Faliszek.

“So we had to do something twice as amazing.”

Asked if he could spill any info on what surprises are in store for the credit sequences, Faliszek said: “Noooooo, come on! The cool thing is that we’ll make sure that the game doesn’t get too difficult – it’s more complex – it’s never so difficult that you can’t solve it. You’ll get to the endings. We’d hate to think that people would only watch the endings on YouTube.”

He added: “It’s scary actually, the ending to Portal has over 5 million hits on YouTube.”

Portal 2 is scheduled for release on April 22 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The ending to Portal was something very special so we’re hoping Valve can deliver something equally memorable this time.
