Frontier Developments has released the latest Wetlands Animal Pack DLC for zoo management simulator Planet Zoo.

This latest expansion adds eight brand new species to the game, including the Capybara. In addition, players can now also welcome the Platypus, the Nile Lechwe and the Wild Water Buffalo to their zoos. Naturally, there’s also a bunch of new enrichment items for the new arrivals, including Hot Water Tap, Underwater Feeder and plenty of others.

The new Wetlands Animal Pack also includes a brand new scenario set in Brazil. Specifically, the Pantanal region which is one of the largest and most diverse wetland ecosystems in the world. The scenario challenges players to rescue and care for a bunch of new animals who can’t return to the wild.

Alongside the DLC, the main game also gets a new free update for all players. The update adds some new additions you can add to your zoo, including roaming educator talks and a brand new ‘Explore Cam’ mode that lets you explore the zoo from the POV of one of your guests. Check out the full patch notes on the Planet Zoo website.
