Konami has announced its support for gamescom, confirming it will showcase a number of its upcoming titles in Cologne.

Headlining Konami's line-up will be PES 2010, with the game to be playable for the first time in Europe at gamescom. The all-new and reworked PES will be joined by Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and new additions to the DanceDanceRevolution series.

"The opening of gamescom marks the beginning of a new era. We are looking forward to an event that will set standards in every aspect," enthused Martin Schneider, Sales and Marketing Director Germany/NL for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. "We promise visitors and trade partners that Konami will make its contribution to establishing this fair as the most successful event the company has ever seen in Germany as well as Europe."

Konami will announce details of its gamescom stage show shortly. gamescom will take place August 19-23.
