The Xbox Games Showcase put Summer Games Fest to shame as it revealed games such as Gears of War E-Day, Avowed, Doom, Fable, and Black Ops 6. One of the highlights was the gameplay reveal of Perfect Dark, giving us a look at the first new entry in the series since Perfect Dark Zero, which served as a launch title for the Xbox 360 in 2005.

With there being so long since the last game, it is hard to believe that this is Perfect Dark due to how much gaming and graphics have advanced. It is incredible to see how far things have come since the last time we took control of Joanna Dark.

In the trailer, we get to see Joanna Dark sneak around a map and use various gadgets, as well as showcase parkour and stealth mechanics. Some of the mechanics revealed include a slow-down bullet time feature, finishing moves, recon-style wall hacks, counter-attacks, and melee.

Unfortunately, no release date was given for Perfect Dark, but you can check out the Perfect Dark gameplay reveal trailer below.
