A new â and extremely short â Payday 3 teaser trailer has now been released through the gameâs official YouTube channel. Although brief, the snippet at least lets fans know that a long-awaited gameplay preview of the heist âem up is coming in summer 2023. The beginning of the clip also displays the silhouette and voice of a highly popular character, making the wait for the gameâs launch even more exciting.
With the Payday 3 release date inching closer, Starbreeze Studios and Overkill Software have also decided to provide additional insight into the development process through a blog post. According to the developers, âPayday 3 is releasing later this yearâ and theyâre also getting ready to provide the aforementioned gameplay preview âas well as more information about what you can expect very soon.â
Theyâve also recommended signing up to Starbreeze Nebula and opting in for the Payday 3 newsletters so you get the latest information once itâs released. Additionally, having âa Nebula account will also let you earn Twitch drops and other bonuses in Payday 2,â which may just be the extra incentive you need to create one if you havenât yet.
Even though the latest Payday 3 teaser trailer was only 20 seconds long, longtime fans couldnât help but be excited for its imminent launch. One user commenting under the video said that they âgenuinely canât waitâ until they get to see the gameplay for this because âthe few little tidbitsâ theyâve seen âalready look really nice.â
Only a handful of weeks are left until summer rolls around so you wonât have to wait too long now for more details on your favorite heist-based co-op title. Payday 3 is also set to be released this year on multiple consoles including the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC so youâll be able to play it no matter what current gen platform you prefer.
