Some players, however, may be skeptical of joining in on the festivities due to the ambiguous nature of the prizes being given out. Luckily, we’re here to list down all of the rewards you can expect as you play through this festive celebration.

All Overwatch 2 Lunar New Year Event Rewards

These are the following rewards you can earn as you play through the OW2 Lunar New Year event:

  • Lucky Pouch Weapon Charm – complete 2 challenges in Lunar New Year.
  • Year of the Rabbit spray and 1,000 Battle Pass XP – win 10 games in Bounty Hunter.
  • Year of the Rabbit name card and 1,000 Battle Pass XP – win 10 games in CTF or Competitive CTF.
  • 1,000 Battle Pass XP – capture the flag in CTF or CTF Blitz.
  • Good Fortune Kkachi Echo skin – complete four challenges in Lunar New Year.
  • 1,000 Battle Pass XP – eliminate the Bounty target six times.
  • Hongbao Souvenir and 1,000 Battle Pass XP – win eight games in CTF Blitz.
  • Year of the Rabbit player icon – login to the game.

The most valuable out of all the rewards available is the Legendary Kkachi Echo skin, which you can earn by simply completing four Lunar New Year challenges. However, some players have complained about this particular reward as it’s similar to what was offered in last year’s event.

There are also a variety of themed skins and bundles that are available within the in-game shop such as the Epic Hu Tou Mao Mei skin, the Legendary Palanquin D.Va bundle, and the Legendary Baihu Genji bundle among others.

The Mei skin by itself costs 1,000 Overwatch coins, which is approximately $9.99 depending on where you’re from. The bundles, however, cost between 1,600 to 2,200 Overwatch coins, which is around $15.99 to $19.99 with prices varying across each region.
