The popular Blizzard World map, which houses recognizable attractions based around the company’s titles, will have all-new weather effects. Although this won’t actually affect the core gameplay itself, a large number of players are still satisfied with the innovative inclusion.

A recently posted YouTube video gave players a preview at how the locale will look with the changes in place. The short clip showed a dreary looking area devoid of inhabitants, much like how you would imagine an empty amusement park. If you want to know exactly what it looks like, you can check out the video below.

Several comments under the same video are praising the new addition to Overwatch 2. One particular commenter appreciated the improvement, stating the following: “I really love this! The bright colors of the park pop so much against the muted sky.”

Another user had this to say about the changes: “I love how the change in atmosphere adds a whole new atmosphere, also reminds me of any holiday I’ve had in the UK.”

A few additional clips making the rounds on Twitter provide a closer look at the weather’s effect on its surroundings. The short videos show condensation forming on various objects around the map due to the rain.

Overwatch 2 players are now as excited as ever with so many new features being introduced to the game. Though the environment in Blizzard World seems gloomy, it’s been nothing but sunshine for fans of the game so far.
