Since it was first announced, One Piece Odyssey is a title that has been on the radar of both anime fans and hardcore gamers alike. With the arrival of Bandai Namco’s entry featuring one of the most iconic cast of characters nearly here, players couldn’t be more excited to start playing through it.

If you no longer want to wait, however, you will now also be able to experience a few hours of Bandai Namco’s title thanks to a demo that was recently released. According to a post from the game’s official Twitter account, PlayStation and Xbox users can download the demo from their console’s respective stores. The save data used once you’re done playing will also be transferrable to the main game so you can pick up right where you left off.
Unfortunately, PC players may have to wait until launch day itself to start journeying with Luffy’s crew. Even though Windows is one of the systems that this installment is available on, it was notably omitted from the aforementioned post regarding demo availability. Other users were able to catch on quickly, with most of the responses below the announcement asking why PC platforms were excluded.

Numerous reviews for One Piece Odyssey have also started to trickle in, with most praising it for its storytelling and combat system. Although some publications have criticized it for its linear nature, the consensus seems to be that One Piece Odyssey is an impressive JRPG that will surely please both casual and hardcore fans.
