If you’ve ever wandered through the shiny Unreal Engine 5 world of Oblivion Remastered and wished you were the very best like no one ever was, this new mod brings the power of Pokemon into the land of Cyrodil.

Now that Oblivion Remastered modders have now cracked Lua scripting to create more advanced mods, Beast Master been created that turns the latest Elder Scrolls game into a monster-collecting masterpiece.

Oblivion Remastered Beast Master

Created by modder ColdTyrant, Beast Masteradds the ability for the player to tame any random animal Creature in Cyrodiil”.

With the mod installed, players can game creatures across the game and turn them into a Combat Pet. Any creature tamed by the player can be “renamed, fed meat, told to follow or wait, and of course assist you in combat”.

The mod adds a brand-new touch spell to the game that allows you to tame the following creatures in the game:

  • Brown Bear
  • Black Bear
  • Boar
  • Imp
  • Mountain Lion
  • Wolf
  • Timber Wolf
  • Mud Crab
  • Rat
  • Dog
  • Land Dreugh
  • Troll
These are all of the creatures you can made your pet.

To interact with your newly tamed pet, the modder has crafted a brand-new Unreal Engine 5 menu that will pop up. This menu allows you to rename, feed and do everything else with your new pet. You can even release your pet if you want to do that.

Unfortunately, the one issue with the mod is that you can only have one active pet at any given time. If you have a cute little doggy and find a troll, you’ll have to release your dog to the wild in order to grab the powerful new beastie.

Nevertheless, this is an awesome addition to Oblivion Remastered, and brings me one to step closer to my Elder Scrolls Pokemon dreams. Now, if only we could lob a Pokeball at the head of the Adoring Fan and keep him inside it.
