No plans for Wii Mini in the UK

Nintendo has no plans to launch the Wii Mini in the UK, and is instead focussing all its efforts on the newly launched Wii U, James Honeywell, head of consumer marketing at Nintendo UK has told CVG.

“We have no plans to launch it in the UK. Our focus here is all about Wii U,” he said.

Wii Mini launches in Canada on December 7 priced CA $99, shrinking down the size of the Wii, but removing all online services.

Wii U launched in the UK today, having already sold 400,000 units during its first week on sale in the US.
