A few months ago, Nintendo and Universal Studios announced that they would be bringing Nintendo attractions and rides to Universal Studios Japan, Hollywood and Orlando.

On May 24, Nintendo filed a trademark with the United States Patent & Trademark Office for Super Nintendo World, which has lead many to believe this will be the name for the Nintendo section of the respective parks.

Nintendo listed the ‘organisation, management, or arrangement of kart racing’ in the trademark application, which could mean we’ll see some real-life Mario Kart.

The Nintendo rides are expected to open in Universal Studios Japan in 2020, with little else known about either of the American counterparts.Â
