Nintendo has confirmed reports that the Wii Zapper will come bundled with a Zelda inspired shooting game.

Scheduled for release across the US on November 19 is the Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Training – a shooting game based on the hugely popular Legend of Zelda series.

The Wii Zapper combines our remarkable controllers into one housing with a classic style reminiscent of arcade-style games,” says George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “Both veteran and first-time players will find it brings a whole new dimension to games where targeting is key and provides even more exciting game-play experiences.

In Link’s Crossbow Training players will enter a world in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess assuming the role of Link, who must progress through a series of crossbow marksmanship tests. These tests will range from a stationary target to moving targets to a full on attack from all kinds of enemies.

The Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Training bundle will retail at $19.99.

Other games confirmed to support the Wii Zapper configuration are EA’s Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Capcom’s Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and SEGA’s Ghost Squad.

No European release date for the Wii Zapper has been announced.
