Nintendo 3DS passes 2 million UK sales milestone

The Nintendo 3DS family has now sold over two million units in the UK, MCV reports.

This includes the regular 3DS, the larger 3DS XL, and the cheaper 2DS.

However, MCV notes that whilst two million sales is an impressive achievement, the handheld isn’t tracking as well as the Nintendo DS at the same stage in its lifecycle.

3DS systems are sure to be a popular Christmas present, especially given the affordability of the units and an impressive range of games such as Animal Crossing: New Leaf, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Pokemon X & Y.
