Valorant is one of the biggest multiplayer shooters and it is set to get even bigger. Not only is it finally set to join the world of consoles, but fans are also in for a treat with the arrival of a brand new map. The reveal date and time for this new Valorant map is nearly over, and you will be able to watch the curtain get pulled aside on the new battlefield tomorrow.

There is lot to look forward to during the month of June for the Valorant community. Not only is there the beginning of a free limited beta on PS5 and Xbox, but there will be the start of Episode 9, too. But, before the beginning of Episode 9, we will be treated to patch 8.11 which is set to deliver nerfs and buffs to five different agents.

In addition to delivering balance changes to agents, patch 8.11 will see the release of a new map. This unique battlefield is set to be revealed soon, and you can watch the VCT Masters Shanghai live to see the first ever match on fresh territory.

When will the new Valorant map be revealed?

The reveal date and time for the new Valorant map is 12AM PT/3AM ET/8AM BST on June 9th. This is confirmed by the official Valorant eSports Twitter account.

Ahead of the grand reveal, the name of the new map has already leaked online. According to ValorantLeaksEN on Twitter, the name of the new upcoming map is Abyss. This goes against prior rumors that suggested it would be called Bastion.

Although the map was previously believed to be called Bastion, Abyss still lends credence to rumors that there will be an underground component.

How to watch

You can watch the reveal of the new Valorant map live on the game’s official eSports website. The match that will take place is Team CN vs Team INTL.

Ahead of the grand reveal, the official Valorant Twitter account has shared the following teasers showing concept art for the new map:
