A new Sonic the Hedgehog game appears to be scheduled for release in 2015 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U, according to alleged promotional material featured at last week’s Nuremberg Toy Fair.
Spindash spotted the info on a Sonic information board, which listed the existing Sonic: Lost World and Sochi 2014 titles, plus a new game scheduled for release in 2015.
It had been believed that the next Sonic game would remain exclusive to Nintendo platforms, as per the three-game deal in place between SEGA and Nintendo. However, it isn’t clear whether the 2015 game is this third title moved to multi-platform, or an all-new fourth game.
