The roll out of the new PlayStation Store in the UK has been temporarily postponed until teething problems can be resolved, Sony has confirmed (via MCV).

The new look store appeared briefly in the UK before reverting back tot he old version after complaints from users, including problems with account authentication and crashes.

“The phased launch of the new PlayStation Store has been temporarily postponed in some territories as teething issues related to the global roll-out of the Store are being addressed and resolved,” explained Sony in a statement.

“It is really important to us that the best possible Store experience is delivered and we appreciate your patience as we resolve these matters.

“The new PlayStation Store is now live in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, India, Israel, Slovenia, Hungary, Turkey, Greece and South Africa.”

I’m sure UK PlayStation gamers are more concerned by the current no show of Retro City Rampage and CS: GO.
