The Xbox Games Showcase has wrapped up and it was one of the best events we’ve seen in some time, with the likes of Gears of War, Perfect Dark, Fable, Avowed, Black Ops 6, and Doom being revealed. One of the surprising titles was FragPunk, a new 5v5 Hero Shooter that looks like it could be a lot of fun.

This reveal comes just days after Sony revealed its own 5v5 Hero Shooter, Concord, to a lot of backlash from the community. But, FragPunk looks like a game that could be a hit with players as it offers a fresh take on the genre.
Utilizing Power-Up Cards, players can alter aspects of the game, including flipping the map upside down, activating big head mode, and many other fun mechanics to shake things up.
FragPunk will be launching in 2025. Although it was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase as released on Xbox and PC, as it is a Netease game, there is a chance it will also come to other platforms, such as PlayStation, but no information has been announced regarding this, we will keep you updated once we get confirmation.
