The midseason update for MW2 contains a large number of new features so it’s only fair that its download size is equally sizable as well.

For this reason, we’ll be taking a look at the midseason patch download size for each console so you know how much space you’ll need to have allocated. Read on to find out the download sizes for Season 2 Reloaded on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
MW2 Season 2 Reloaded Download Size
According to recent user comments, PlayStation players were seemingly able to pre-load the patch ahead of its actual release. Sadly, those on PC and Xbox weren’t able to do so though the reason for its unavailability was unclear. Now that the update has been released, however, all users should now be able to install it without issue.

If you haven’t downloaded it yet, then here are the file sizes you can expect for each system:
- PlayStation: 12.5GB to 13.2GB
- Xbox: 25GB
- PC: 28GB
Several players have confirmed that the download size for Season 2 Reloaded on PlayStation 5 is between 12.5GB to 13.2GB. Those on PC and Xbox, however, are yet to announce a specific number so it’s still currently unclear how much storage is needed for these devices. However, we will continue to update this page with the latest information as soon as we receive it.
Player reactions to the download sizes have mostly been negative so far as most are noting the discrepancy between PlayStation and the rest of the field. Some are implying that this may be favoritism on the part of Activision, especially with the previous omission of pre-loading functionality on both PC and Xbox. Unfortunately, the video game publisher is yet to respond to these allegations so we may never know what the actual cause was for these differences.
