There's a lot of characters who you would probably want to see turn up in Mortal Kombat 11 as DLC, but Shaggy from Scooby-Doo probably isn't an obvious choice. Despite this, some fans have started petitioning for the lanky chap to show up in NetherRealm's latest fighter. Yes, really.
'Woken News Network is taking the much needed initiative of starting this petition to make Shaggy a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11,' it reads. 'We're calling on Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to give the fans the fighter they most certainly need.'
I mean, I love a bit of Scooby-Doo, and Shaggy is a legend. But an MK11 character? It's an odd choice, especially Shaggy is a notorious coward and anything but a fighter. Then again, he did duff up the Joker that one time…
Still, I'm sure NetherRealm could come up with something creative for Shaggy. Maybe something to do with food? I mean, those Super Shaggy Sandwiches were pretty epic.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be looking for a punch-up on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One from April 23, although Shaggy probably won't be featured.
