Capcom has announced that a second Major Title Update is heading for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for release next month, headlining it with a new monster in the form of the Stygian Zinogre.

Making the announcement during the weekend's Monster Hunter Festa in Toyko, Japan the studio additionally declared that the free update will also feature new weapons, new armour sets and also a new region in the Guiding Lands known as the Tundra region.

Capcom promise more information on the upcoming title update in the next developer diary, due to be released the day before the new content lands on December 4. Major Title Update 2 itself will launch for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on December 5 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version of the Iceborne expansion is set to launch in early January.
