Mass Effect 4 and Mirror's Edge 2 will both release before the end of March 2016, industry analyst Michael Pachter has predicted.

In a new report posted by research company Wedbush, Pachter and his team of analysts noted that "EA's strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years".

"FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror's Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15."

EA's FY 2016 runs from April 2015 through to March 2016, although the report offers no indication as to whether we'll see the games released during this calendar year or next. Both Need For Speed and Star Wars: Battlefront are expected to launch this side of Christmas.

EA announced a Mirror's Edge reboot for PS4, Xbox One and PC back at E3 2013, revealing that it would follow the origin story of the original game's lead character Faith. Meanwhile, the next Mass Effect title has regularly been teased but never formally named, and promises to take players to a whole new region in space.

Release dates for either game have yet to be announced.
