Konami has announced plans to develop products for NOKIA’s N-Gage mobile game service, beginning with Metal Gear Solid Mobile this June.
Metal Gear Solid Mobile is an original game created exclusively for the mobile platform and received top honours at the 2007 International Mobile Gaming Awards. 3D graphics and camera work are used to reproduce the stealth gameplay the series is known for, and use of the mobile’s camera creates an experience only possible on the mobile platform.
The game has been developed in conjunction with Ideadworks3D utilising their Airplay 3.5 SDK.
The N-Gage mobile game service launched in April 2008 and is supported on all N-Series and S60 3rd Edition devices.
