As spotted by users on ResetEra, multiple sources have leaked the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid Delta release date. While there’s still a long time to wait, we now finally know when we can get out hands on the shiny new Snake Eater remake.
Metal Gear Solid Delta release date leaks
A PlayStation Store update spotted by fans reveals that the Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater release date is currently pinned for August 28th, 2025. Alongside the release date being added to the PlayStation Store, a new trailer has also been uploaded for the game with the title “Release Date Trailer”.
The new trailer is a boisterous cinematic look at the new remake, showing off a host of new footage from the game, as well as confirming the return of the Ape Escape characters from the original PS2 title. It’s not known if their inclusion will be exclusive to PS5 consoles.
At the end of the trailer, Konami revealed the leaked release date of August 28th, 2025 for PS5. This release date is expected to be the same on Xbox Series and PC. No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been confirmed, despite rumours.
We will update this article with more information once Konami officially releases the trailer.
