The PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will release on Steam on December 18, Konami has confirmed.
Confirmation follows shortly after the date leaked out of Russian media last week.
The PC release will ship with numerous technical improvements over its console predecessors, including an increase in the number of simultaneous light sources and models that can be displayed on-screen, increased shadow resolution and support for 4K.

A price for the Steam release has not been confirmed.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is due to follow on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2015.
