Marvel Rivals players “hate” annoying character ult that tracks through walls

As Marvel Rivals is rapidly moving towards the next season and the game’s Ultimate abilities have sparked heated controversy among players, with some classified as game-breakingly powerful. Since the game’s release late last year, these high-impact skills, designed to change the tide of battle, have transformed team clashes into spectacle — and frustration.

Heroes with large area-of-effect damage or near-invincibility buffs have dominated ranked play, with win rates exceeding 60% in certain compositions. Luna Snow’s 12-second healing aura and Iron Man’s sky-shattering Invincible Pulse Cannon have sparked outrage, frequently leaving opponents feeling helpless until they burn numerous Ults in reaction.

To counter these dangers, players have relied on mobility, crowd control, and burst damage—think Magneto’s shields absorbing missiles or the Punisher’s raw DPS melting through buffs. At the same time, whispers about a particularly wild Ultimate are gaining traction which is so powerful that it hunts enemies through walls, locking on targets with amazing precision.

Marvel Rivals players are terrified of Squirrel Girl’s ult hunting them through walls

According to the latest Reddit posts, players like Snooz7725 are already annoyed with Squirrel Girl’s ultimate ability Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami which summons a horde of squirrels to charge forward, dealing damage while bouncing against structures.

In the clip shared by the user, they hid behind a wall while peeking at the enemy Squirrel Girl as she unleashed her ult. Once she activated it, she pointed her squirrels towards the Panther’s location. Soon, the squirrels bounced off the walls and tracked the user, ultimately eliminating them.

Players who went through a similar episode turned in their comments where one wrote, “Am I the only one who gets double donked by her squirrels in what feels like 1 single frame it hits me, bounces off the nearest wall, and I can’t even react to it as it hits me again killing me?”

Another chimed in regarding the squirrel’s hit boxes, “You know what’s worse? Their hitbox, I hope they increase the hitbox of Tippietoe, and cos they’re kinda hard to kill since they move fast and pretty much roadkill you.”

Players have tried multiple counters for this ult, right from jumping over the horde to eliminating the big squirrel leading the horde, but none of them worked. In addition to that, Squirrel Girl’s primary attack is already dishing out massive damage, all the way up to 120 dmg, where other DPS are left out to dry.
