Marvel has just revealed a new teaser image for the upcoming Civil War II comic, and it features the current Thor front and center.

Civil War II #1 is set for release in June this year, hot on the heels of the latest Captain America film hitting cinemas in April, itself an adaptation of the first Civil War comics.

Civil War II will be based around a conflict between Iron Man and Captain Marvel, with the latest image showing Thor (the current hammer-wielding lady version) behind text reading ‘Protect the future. Change the future.’

Marvel said that in the comic “a new power has emerged, one that can predict the future-for good or ill- and the heroes of the Marvel Universe are faced with a choice: Wield the power of ‘predictive justice’ to change the future as they see fit, or reject it and allow tomorrow to unfold unaltered.” Or, as can be interpreted, this is the Marvel version of Minority Report.

Although the tagline for Civil War II is ‘Choose your side’ there’s no indication yet whether Thor will be Team Stark or Team Cap.
