The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Lone Survivor have been delayed until September, Curve Studios has confirmed.

The game had previously been due to launch later this month.

“I can confirm that we’re aiming for a September launch of Lone Survivor on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3,” Curve told VideoGamer.com this morning. “The game has a huge amount of new content from Jasper, and we’re spending a few extra weeks in QA to make sure it all works together with everything from the original game.”

Lone Survivor first launched on PC last year to a positive response from critics and fans. The PS3/Vita version is said to feature two additional locations, two new side quests and a brand new ending.

Curve’s latest title Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark launched on PS3 and PlayStation Vita last month.
