Lego Marvel Super Heroes is finally arriving on the Nintendo Switch this October, developer TT Games and publisher Warner Bros. Games have announced.

The blocky adventure originally launched back in 2013 and features an original story crossing the entire Marvel universe. Players can pick from over 100 comic book characters including Spider-Man, Black Widow, the Avengers, Deadpool, the X-Men and many more across a wealth of iconic locations. These include Stark Tower, the X-Mansion, Asgard and many more.

The game is considered one of the best entries in the long running Lego series, and we were big fans ourselves. Our reviewer said at the time: “The series’ mechanics have been improved and refined, but the real emphasis is on the setting and context to drive that sense of adventure.” They even called it “The strongest Lego title yet, and the best Marvel game ever made” so high praise indeed.

The Nintendo Switch version will include all previously released DLC for the game too, including the Super Pack and the Thor-themed Asgard pack. The full Lego Marvel Super Heroes package is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on October 8.
