The Steam Summer Sale hasn’t yet begun, but we’re already seeing games like Sifu at their lowest-ever price.
At the time of writing Sifu is discounted 25% percent on Steam. This has bought the price down to a never before seen $29.99 in the US and £23.99 in the UK. The fun doesn’t end there either, with the Deluxe Edition seeing a 25% reduction too, down to $40.46/£33.17. The deal ends on June 29th, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to take advantage of it.
Sifu came out in 2022 and has been impressing players since with its beat ’em up gameplay and satisfying mechanics. The game is set in modern-day China, where you play as a young boy learning martial arts and tracking those involved in his father’s murder. It’s a simple enough revenge storyline but told well.
What really sells the game, however, are its impeccable combat mechanics. The animations are smooth and the gameplay is complex enough that you get an actual sense of achievement from winning a fight.
Remember that it is both standard and deluxe editions that are included in the sale. This means that for just $10 more you can get The Art of Sifu artbook, the original soundtrack, and special in-game outfits that cannot be achieved any other way, as well as the game itself.
