Silent Hill is one of the greatest video game horror series of all time, and Konami is finally doing right by the series once again. The recently released Silent Hill 2 remake was incredible, and there are more adventures in that haunting town on the way. While fans are hoping for remakes in the future, right now Konami is set to lift the fog on a brand-new Silent Hill game in a unique setting, and fans can watch the reveal live.
Konami set to lift the fog on brand-new Silent Hill game
As posted by Konami on X, they are set to unveil Silent Hill f. This game was unveiled with a cinematic trailer back in 2023, but Konami “lifting” the fog suggests we are about to see gameplay.
Although we’ve only seen a cinematic trailer, the game seems incredible as it looks completely different to all other SH games. This time it appears to be set in Japan, and the teaser looked completely unnerving.
Konami’s reveal is set to take place in a livestream scheduled for 3PM PDT/6PM EDT/10PM GMT on March 13th. You can watch the livestream on the series’ official YouTube channel.
It would be amazing to receive a release date, but we’re just looking forward to seeing gameplay. As for what’s next for that little town, there’s nothing officially in the pipeline other than f, but there are rumors of remakes for SH1 and 3. There are also rumors of Konami developing an SH game themselves instead of handing to the series to another studio.
