Glass Onion: a Knives Out mystery is, exactly as its title suggests, the next instalment in Writer/Director Rian Johnson’s (Brick, Looper, Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi) Knives Out cinematic universe.
But unlike most conventional movie sequels, this movie is not a direct continuation of Knives Out’s story but is instead another chapter in the life of Daniel Craig’s (Road To Perdition, Layer Cake, Spectre) intrepid detective, Benoit Blanc.
However, like its predecessor, Glass Onion is another star studded affair featuring some of the biggest and most interesting names in Hollywood as the victim(s?) and suspects at the center of this newest murder mystery.

As revealed in this article from Netflix.com, the mystery this time centers around tech billionaire Miles Bron (played by Edward Norton) as he invites some of his closest friends to join him on his private Greek Island to take part in a murder mystery game, except, in Johnson’s own words “everything goes horribly wrong” as someone turns up dead.
As Blanc was already invited to the island to take part in Bron’s murder mystery game. It’s very likely that upon the murdered guest being found, Blanc will begin to investigate and question everyone and everything in order to get to the heart of the case.
