Sega has released a new trailer for upcoming detective-brawler Judgment, showcasing how protagonist Takayuki Yagami and his partner, former yakuza member Kaito, track down their targets on the mean streets of Kamurocho.

From the look of things, the game will feature its fair share of Quick-Time Events, as one sequences depicts Yagami-san chasing down a suspect punctuated by on-screen prompts. It actually reminds me of that bit in the first Shenmue, when Ryo has to chase someone down the street while avoiding pedestrians.

There's also some snooping involved, as you duck and cover behind various objects on the street and try and listen to conversations. Of course, this is a Yakuza spin-off, so you can obviously let you fists and feet do the talking where necessary. And the scrapping looks bone-crunchingly satisfying.

Judgment is due out on PlayStation 4 in the US and UK on June 25.
