Based on the “Arkham Cycle” and the Cthulhu Stories by H. P. Lovecraft, Anderson & the Legacy of Cthulhu is a collaborative project developed by literature experts, Pen&Paper gamemasters and campaign authors.

The project has already gained plenty of community support: cutscenes have been produced by award-winning director Gerhard Daurer and in-game art has been created by acclaimed fantasy artist Peter Siedl.

Anderson is not only an entertaining, and terrifying experience for every Lovecraft fan, but due to the huge volume of bonus material this has developed into an artistic masterpiece. We are delighted to be involved with such an exciting project,” said Johann Ertl, Producer JoWooD Productions.

The game’s story sees Robert D. Anderson, a private investigator from New York, travel to Germany during the early months of WWII in order to research his origins. He arrives at the castle of his ancestors and discovers an occult secret society called The Order of the Black Sun, revealing secrets powerful enough to endanger mankind.

Anderson & the Legacy of Cthulhu is scheduled for release on PC in Q2 2007.
