Naturally, players want to know more about the all-important classes that are going to be available in the game. For this reason, many are now wondering whether or not the ever-popular Paladin class is going to be playable upon release.

Will Paladin be a playable class in Diablo 4?

Unfortunately, Paladin will not be a playable class in Diablo 4 as there will only be five available classes at launch. This includes the Barbarian, Rogue, Druid, Sorceress, and Necromancer, all of which are usable during the Open Beta.

Since the Paladin was one of the first five classes that was included in the iconic Diablo 2, it has steadily gained a collection of loyal players throughout the years. Boasting a skillset that could help allies and hinder enemies, this class is one of the most useful ones to have in a group due to the survivability that they can bring.

Fan reaction has predictably been negative so far as most had been hoping to use this class once the game was launched. However, some are speculating that it may be included in a future expansion after Blizzard had posted a now-deleted photo featuring all of the playable classes.

The bad news, though, is that it’s currently unclear when these DLCs are going to be released since the game’s launch itself is still far off. However, we will continue to update this page with the latest information as soon as Blizzard or other official sources have provided it.
